NPR Music’s Tiny Desk concert series is hosting a video contest (video has to include a tiny desk!) Pitz submitted this new tightened up version of Movin’ with the gigantic help of brother Shrimp, happy giggling!

Cool news… Pitz has recorded Didge tracks on 3 songs for a new CD featuring James Montgomery (Harmonica master)Massamba Diop (Baaba Maal’s talking drummer) and Jim Matus (Laoutar wizard) The recording blends American and African Blues and much more. The CD will be released summer ’16, interesting stuff!

Pitz was a special guest of the Chad Hollister Band at the Barre Opera House. Once there, scroll to the right to see a dozen or so action nuggetts!

Pitz worked with long time collaborator and Producer, Shrimp. The studio worked in to record finish tracks, mixing and mastering was Lane Gibson Recording in Charlotte, VT, formerly known as Chuck Eller studio.  Lane is the PHD of Protools and has ears so finely tuned, it’s scary!  Pitz was in good hands with Lane.  Check Lane’s site for impressive industry wide credentials and stellar list of clients.

Outstanding video of Pitz’s Didge show at the Fleming Museum, University of Vermont, what a magical night!  Shrimp joins in for a couple numbers at the end of the near hour long show!

Pitz’s song, “ELECTRIC TAN” is getting airplay on the legendary radio show, Dr. Demento.  Yes the good Dr. is still doing his thing in his 80’s!
